Hold the date fee (HTD)

  • Hold the date fee is $100 non refundable fee and is required within 48 hours of receiving the contract or invoice. 
  • If your event is scheduled less than thirty (30) business days, FULL PAYMENT is required within 48 hours of receiving the contract or invoice.

Tastings are welcome for a minimum of 4 people. Each guest will be charged $75 for tasting consisting of the following:

  • Two choices of meat
  • Two sides
  • Two vegetables
  • Two salads

Servers are recommended for parties over 40 guest but not required. 


Servers are $25 an hour for a minimum of 2 hours and a minimum of 2 servers, 


Note: We will provide service for up to four (4) hours; additional time will be charged at $50.00/ hourly rate.


Example: Servers arrive 1.5 hours before event to set up

Note: Menu options do not include fees for beverages, staff, outside rental, delivery, taxes, cake cutting fee, or corking fee.

  • 60% of total fees are due 45 days prior to event date
  • 40% of total fees are due 14 days prior to event date to avoid cancellation

Cancellation policy

  • 60% of all payments received (not including the Hold The Date Fee) will be returned in full if the event is cancelled by CLIENT thirty (30) days PRIOR to the event date. Payment will be returned in full within ten (10) days.
  • After thirty (30) days no prepayments are refunded if the event is cancelled by CLIENT.
  • Sandys Food For The Soul reserves the right to terminate this contract for any valid reason at any time.
  • If Sandys Food For The Soul terminates your contract within the thirty (30) day period prior to the event date, all prepayments will be returned in full within ten (10) days.

VENUE RESPONSIBILITIES

It is the sole responsibility of the client to pay for any venue fees related to maintenance, clean up, sweeping, mopping, carpet cleaning, damage done by guest, attendees or participants of our client. Sandys Food For The Soul will not be responsible for any damages or lost or stolen items. Sandys Food For The Soul will be responsible for the basic cleaning of all areas related to food prep & storage.

GUEST COUNT INCREASE AND DECREASE POLICY

  • If you were provided a discount and your guest count increases those additional guest will be charged the NON-DISCOUNTED price per person on a separate INVOICE/ CONTRACT.
  • Guest count decreased after INVOICE/ CONTRACT by more than 20 guest will incur a $50.00 service fee.
  • Guest count decreased after INVOICE/ CONTRACT by more than 20 guest ANY discounted/ waived/ included fees become FORFEITED and the ORIGINAL NON DISCOUNTED FEES PER PERSON will be charged.
  • Don't forget to include your wedding planner, photographer, videographer and band or DJ/emcee, plus their assistants in your guest count for food.
  • Final guest count will be taken 14 days prior to date of event. No acceptations will be made after this.
