Chef Sandy was Born and raised in Seattle Washington. Her introduction to the world of culinary arts began at age 7 years old. She first started out helping her dad cook in the kitchen as a little girl. The very first skill she mastered was her daddy’s French toast recipe. Still one of her favorite most memorable dishes till this day. Sandy spent most of her childhood summers down south in Louisiana with family. Although born in Seattle all her family and roots come from the dirty south. This is when her love and passion for cooking began. She quickly became fascinated by her great G’Ma unique creole recipes and the different flavors of her food.
Sandy has worked in the food industry for 5 years. She is currently taking a Culinary Arts program in her home town to further her passion that has been a hobby for so many years now. She has currently developed her own menu using those recipes passed down from her great G’ma, down to her G’ma, down to her mother, and now her.
Chef Sandy loves creating recipes for the people she loves the most, using ingredients they love the best. Her star recipes are dedicated to her family!
Thank you guys for being a part of this journey on Sandy’s cooking revolution!

Too many of us are focused on the struggle of our daily lives to even think about giving back. My advice to you is this....
Give, and it shall be given unto you;
Good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over,
Shall others give to you.
For with the same measure
that you give
Shall be measured to you again.

Sandys food for the soul believes in paying it forward and blessing those who are less fortunate. That’s why Once a year I alternate between Thanksgiving and Christmas to have my annual food drive and basket give always With the support and help from my church home. I prepare traditional soulful holiday dinners and baskets for the homeless. I offer warm beverages such as hot chocolate, coffee, and warm eggnog. I prepare baskets that include socks, hats, gloves, scarfs, and blankets for the winter. Daily essentials like toothbrush, toothpaste, mouth wash, deodorant, and body soap. My ultimate goal is to equip each individual we contact with the tool necessary in realizing their ultimate potential, to leave no one hungry physically or spiritually that we encounter and to enable each one we serve with the ability to eventually serve someone else in need. If you would like to help support our cause we do accept donations. I also welcome volunteers that want to physically help if you prefer to get your Hands a little dirty.
